Prof Tan Sze Wee
Prof Tan Sze Wee is the Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is also the Assistant Chief Executive of A*Star’s Biomedical Research Council, and Senior Advisor of Innovation and Enterprise Division. He is responsible for efforts to translate the organization’s R&D to market to drive research based economic and social impact.
Prof Tan is an Adjunct Professor at both Nanyang Technological University’s Lee Kong Chian Medical School and Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School. He is a board member of Ministry of Health’s Consortium for Clinical Research and Innovation Singapore Pte Ltd (CRIS). He is also a board member of the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI).
He combined his training as a medical doctor with an MBA. Prof Tan was also formerly the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of a biomedical company, and Asia Pacific Associate Regional Medical Director of a global pharmaceutical company.
Prof Tan has contributed to civil society and voluntary organisations, having served on CASE and on the board of the Orchard YMCA. A former Nominated Member of Parliament, Prof Tan is a council member of the Singapore Medical Association, and Recipient of Friend of Labour Award and the Public Administration Medal (Silver).
Lynn is the Director who leads the Finance Committee. She is currently the CFO of a mid-sized construction firm and urban renewal specialist, which has been recognised as a 5-year winner of the Enterprise 50 Award. Prior to that, she has experience in audit and business consulting services for financial institutions with PwC and Ernst and Young Advisory respectively, as well as reserves management with the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Lynn obtained a bachelor of accountancy degree with first class of honours from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and is a CFA Charterholder. She is passionate about giving back to society and has been volunteering in homes and supporting community projects both locally and abroad. She hopes to increase ADHD awareness and enable more families to have access to ADHD support to unlock their children’s potential.
Jamie is the Director who leads and advises on Programmes. He is also an adult ADHDer. As Co-Founder of Lunch Actually which was established since 2004, Jamie helped expand the company from Singapore to Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Thailand, making it Southeast Asia’s biggest dating group.
Jamie is the business mechanic who has helped build up systems and products from nothing to ensure that the matches and operations of Lunch Actually are efficiently accomplished and quality is assured. He loves to improve things and to strive for the perfect system in all his businesses.
Jamie is a mentor and angel investor in the local start-up scene, and has been invited to speak at several conferences. Outside of work, Jamie loves to read, play strategy games, and attend self-improvement courses. He is the proud father of two teenagers, one of whom has been diagnosed with ADHD.
Douglas is Director who leads and advises on legal and governance matters. He is currently General Counsel of an Asian MNC and has extensive experience in local, regional, international and cross border legal and governance matters. Douglas was formerly a director and shareholder of a medium sized Singapore law practice.
A father of two, Douglas was a member of the Audit Committee for his church for several years. He hopes that society will have a better understanding of ADHD so that the potential of children with ADHD can be fully unlocked.
Himanshu is the Director who leads the Audit Committee. He is also an adult ADHDer who actively champions mental health and active ageing.
A corporate executive in the financial services industry who has worked across Asia Pacific, Himanshu is also an angel investor having served as a founding board member previously for a successful start-up until its exit. In his corporate life, Himanshu has been an active Corporate Social Responsibility champion having led multiple local and global social initiatives.
On the personal side, Himanshu is the father of two young children and focuses on teaching self-compassion to his kids. In his “me time” he loves listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
Stephen is the Director who leads the Technology Committee and is a member of the Finance Committee. He is also a Committee Member of the Securities Investors Association of Singapore and the Singapore Press Club.
A full-time investor, Stephen is involved in corporate governance and investor education efforts. He has a strong grounding in business analysis and spent 5 years managing investor relations for SGX-listed companies and public relations for technology MNCs.
Stephen is passionate about stewardship, good governance, and the search for balanced and ethical solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys learning about theology and financial management.
Moonlake is the Founder and Executive Director of Unlocking ADHD. An adult ADHDer who is a community builder and multi-hyphenate, her career and interests span several industries and countries.
Moonlake’s interest in learning has led her to pursue degrees in journalism, law, business and technology law. She has worked in the healthcare and technology sector while also being an angel investor and entrepreneur. Moonlake was part of a community running group for several years and advocates for sports as one of the important ways to manage ADHD symptoms. She was also active as a parent volunteer in her daughters' school swimming and cross country teams and upskilled herself in parenting knowledge to support her children to the best of her ability. Over the years, she has come to realize that the best thing that parents can do for their children is to love them unconditionally and be the secure place for them while coaching them to respect boundaries in order to thrive and contribute to society.
She believes that every individual is precious. Her purpose in life is Uncovering Diamonds – to give each person with ADHD hope for a brighter future. Moonlake is the mother of two neurodivergent young adults and wife to an avid marathoner.
