Unlocking ADHD’s (UA) mission is to empower ADHDers and their families to live life to the fullest, providing high-quality information, support, and community resources. UA has become Singapore’s most comprehensive resource for ADHD information, providing online peer support communities, foundational workshops for parents, and plans to implement services such as peer support circles, workshops, and coaching.
We are seeking a Programmes Executive who will be responsible for planning, developing and executing our programmes for the ADHD community. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has excellent project management skills with attention to detail, has programmes/event management experience and is skilled in group dynamics/facilitation. Familiarity with ADHD from a professional or lived experience perspective would be a plus.
Role Description
Reporting to the General Manager/Head of Programme, the Programmes Executive will be responsible for:
- ✅ Managing, developing and facilitating the online and face to face support group programme and initiatives.
- ✅ Overseeing and organising the community engagement programme through public seminars, webinars, talks and special events like ADHD Awareness Month
- ✅ Design collection of data and evaluation framework to build the foundation of evidenced based programmes and outcome evaluations.
- ✅ Leading and supervising interns and volunteers supporting programmes
- ✅ Acting as UA ambassador in all stakeholder engagement upholding the UA brand, reputation and professionalism
Qualifications
- ✅ At least 3 years of relevant experience in the charity sector
- ✅ Project management, planning, and budgeting skills
- ✅ Excellent communication and networking skills, with attention to detail
- ✅ An understanding of the challenges facing people with ADHD and their families
- ✅ Strong organizational and time management skills
- ✅ Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- ✅ Demonstrated experience managing teams.
- ✅ Degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or a related field
- ✅ Willingness to work on certain evenings a month to run the core programmes or support other programmes
